Has anyone done this swap and kept the 5 spd transmission? I'm wondering if I can use my stage 2 lightweight flywheel and clutch from my current setup or do I have to use a b5 rs4 setup? I've searched the forums but haven't been able to find anything. Thanks for any help.

You would not want to keep that transmission with that motor.

Maybe I will do it sometime down the line. Right now it would push me way over budget to do the swap and transmission.

There is no way to utilize a Crankshaft Position Sensor with the 5 speed. I used my old one as a mockup transmission and noticed the hole lines up with the flywheel teeth. You would have to come up with a different way to get an engine RPM signal to the ECU in order to use that turdbox.

You will have to use whatever clutch setup that the engine you are using comes with
