A5 conversion to s line question

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I was recently rear ended and was wondering if I could get an a5s line bumper installed instead of the regular a5. I have a 2015. Would it be a direct fit? I am guessing I would have to change the exhaust too? Any other ideas since insurance would be covering it anyway. Thanks

Should be able to just get an s-line bumper and s-line valence. Exhaust is unchanged.

Also just fyi, the Sline and S5 bumper is the same too. Just the diffuser is different.

The shop would probably find the part numbers helpful too. :)

The body shop should be able to determine the valence part number based on the rear bumper part number, but here is the two pieces that make up the s-line valence: 8T0807521J1RR, 8T0807833A01C. Hope this helps

So for mine without parking sensors would be 8T0807067CGRU and 8T0807833A01C correct?

if u decide to get a quad exhaust, pick up the s5 valance instead of s-line

that is correct, but u will need both pieces of the valance, not just 1

Not sure if I'll be getting exhaust anytime soon. If I do I'll just have to spring for the valance on my own. Thanks for all the help again

I would have them install the S5 valance now so you don't have to spend 4-5 hundred more down the road.
