    Recommended shop that can help install an RS5 Trunk on an S5

    Hey guys,

    Wanted to ask if you guys can recommend a shop that can help me install an RS5 boot lid on an S5? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Wicked Motorsports on Sepulveda Blvd in Van Nuys. Talk to Mike. He does lots of custom installs and specializes in Audis.

    are you talking about just a trunk lid swap or the electronic spoiler deployment mechanism as well?

    The electronic spoiler as well. I have everything but the wiring for it, so I was wondering if a shop would be able to help me out on that.

    First, he said he thinks you've called him.
    As far as the install, yes can be done. Integrating it the way it works on an RS5, throttle/brake activated can be done, but VERY expensive to do wiring. He said he could do it, but rolled his eyes when discussing cost and said it wouldn't be worth the cost to do it.
    My thought was to just connect it to a switch on the dash/console to trigger it manually. Mike also suggested to have it connected to a WOT switch so when you're on the gas full throttle it would deploy.

    Ahh I see. Yeah I figured it might cost a bit too much. Maybe I'll just wait it out and save the mod for next year.
