    Suggestions for a good tune

I'm looking at a bone stock B7 A4 Avant and I was wondering what tune to put on it. Not looking to do anything apart from a tune just yet. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! I'm looking for something that offers the most gains, ups the turbo pressure enough that it doesn't overload the cooling system, and works best on a stock A4.

You are going to get an internet beat down for asking this question. Asked countless times in the past. APR, JHM seem to be the go to.

APR, JHM, REVO, Unitronic, etc. are all great tunes... after all the research here I've done I've learned that you really can't go wrong with any of those. I'd just ask your local shop what tune they offer, they are all close so just go with what's available locally... The ONE mod you really should do is an upgraded diverter valve, they tend to rip unless you have an '08 then you should have an upgraded one already. This will cause significant loss of boost The cheap way to go, although not as responsive, is the factory upgraded one, from $25-55. Otherwise Go Fast Bits (T9351) DV+ and AWE Tuning make kits to upgrade your factory housing for under $140. These keep the responsiveness of the original diaphragm style but won't rip.

This may be the most covered topic for this platform over the last 10 years. Please search...

Also - what you're looking for is basically what every tune offers.

Lol thanks guys! I had a JHM tune on my B6 S4, and I recently switched to an APR tune and I find it a little better, the S4 is basically stock and since its NA, I wanted to get some feedback on what tunes people have found to be good with the 4 cyl turbo engine. @danbfree thanks for the info on the diverter valve I'll look in to it if I pick up the car!
