Inconsistent ride height with coilovers, help?

Decided to check my fender to ground height before getting my car aligned and I noticed that I have 1/2 inch discrepancy from passenger front to driver front with the coilovers set at the same height. In order to achieve a 25" fender to ground on both sides I had to raise the passenger side by about 8 threads on the shock body.

Is this typical? I want to make sure this is all squared before I get aligned. I have verified both struts are all the way seated in the strut clamp and the top of the springs look to be consistent as well.

You had me wondering for myself. Ran outside & got 24" drivers side 24 3/8 on passengers side. I couldnt tell by driving or visually. Think it's in the tire. Did you check tire pressure?

Tires are the same, just replaced them today. I've tested in different locations to make sure it wasn't my garage floor as well. I've been at this height on the coils for almost a year so settling of the springs is also out of the question.

I've had coils on three cars, I've always had the same thread adjustment left and right to level the car.

Do you still have to stock sway bar and end links? Maybe something is bent or not set up probably there.

Ive had issues like that with other vehicles and coil overs. Did you double check the rears as well after raising the front up? Currently on my ST XTA coil overs I have a "thread discrepancy" of maybe 2 or 3 threads.

swaybar endlinks +1. If you want everything perfectly balanced get a corner balance with your alignment. It should fix all your problems and then some

The rears are spot on. I think this whole thing may be the result of weight distribution in the front end....

I scheduled an alignment with corner balancing for today. I'll report back.

Your ride height won't be even when you corner balance. I spent time getting the ride heights all even on my weekend car. When we put it on the scales I had to raise and lower different corners to adjust the weight balance. That being said corner balance does give you a edge performance wise. Go measure a new car the corners aren't even to start with. If you have OCD like me and want it even don't worry about the thread count and make it even.
