Some coding issues to work through related to the 6sp swap..

The ABS isnt working, and the shop believes its related to fault codes indicating the car is still looking for an auto trans (TSU), and not finding one.

I have looked through 6spd swap threads, but havent seen anything directly related to this.

Im looking to basically direct the shop on how to code the car to expect a manual trans. Basically any coding in VAG comm that should be done when a 6spd swap is done, id like to review.


Option 2 will be to have Unitied Motorsports take care of this when i get the car tuned by them.

I had the same issue. Abs needed to be reprogrammed before the swap when there was no code in the system. Now it wont let you reprogram it. I ended up swapping one from my manual donor car.

So you have two options, swap manual abs from a donor car or put yours into running AT car and then reprogram it to manual.
