Ok for some time My A4 has not been working. one day it just legit just starting sputting out and then puff now it wont start. To be honest with you people i'm like 110% lost on this i have a VAG-COM 409. It's kinda wonkey but it works. The last scan shows this... the front end was taken apart so some codes might just be BS. It sat for some time and i tried working on it the other day and i almost started it then it gave up. If someone knows WTF there looking at and can guide me through this i was immensely appreciate it. (responses to dumb A** standard plz)

Everything I'm seeing points to an electrical problem. Probably something grounding related. My brother's old allroad starting killing sensor after sensor because the grounding bars below/around the battery corroded away. I would start by clearing the DTCs, and with a fresh battery connected up, seeing if they return. If they do, check the condition of those bars. May need to remove some rusted bolts, chase the threads with a die, tap the threads into the body (ground) and hope that closes the circuit.

OK sorry I haven't been on replaying or even working on the car but i got some free time today. So I made some progress on the car... Well some its starts and revs but dies right out. I'm going to go in to as much detail as I can possibly can. So bear with me, The PRNDS on the cluster goes out every now and then. But everything else on the Cluster shows perfect, but when the PRNDS does not show it seems to correlate with the car not wanting to start. I can't keep the car on more than a couple revs. Also along with this nightmare of errors. The MPH needle likes to jump around sometimes and the dash likes flicker on sometimes. I’m going to post a video on this post so maybe u guys can get a better look at the situation on hand. The front end is kind of taken apart so some things on the dash will show like headlights and etc.

I also noticed something wrong when I press the gas pedal in PRNDS disappear also. When I let my foot off the gas it seems to be back to normal but the car still won't start.

I wonder if your tiptronic shifter magnets are messed up?

Some strange things happen when the magnets break off from the shifter gate.

I replaced them from another car at the junkyard. But yeah they don't work either.

    B6 wont start. TCU issue?

If the car does not start you need to start with the basics. Is the engine timed correctly and spooning freely??Do you have fuel at the fuel rail???Do you have spark at the ignition coils???If you have all 3 engine should start. The TCM will not cause a no start.mu suggestion is clear all the faults out of it and start from scratch.

Judging purely from the noise it's making its possible that you have a fuel supply or ignition issue.

Also the cluster should not go out when cranking.Make sure you have good ground on the engine and battery.

Got alot of issues going on there in the scan but I just wanna say I spent a few days trying to figure out my own cranking but no start (one time it started then died like in the video) issue. Had no codes on mine but it ended up being a small metal particle on my crank sensor that was throwing off timing. I just replaced the sensor.

Hey thanks a lot for all your help i'll look in to all your ideas ASAP. But tbh i was focusing on the TCU more then anything. I'll start girding our some test soon. but again thanks a lot.
