I have a few leds burnt out on my s4 inner tail lights (both sides). Does anyone know if you can separate the tail light and solder new leds in?

Been wondering this myself and read that the LED assembly themselves are in a sealed unit making it difficult to get at but not impossible. Haven't heard of anybody actually replacing the individual LED themselves, most likely surface mounts.

I may try this after I purchase a new tail light section. I've taken apart headlights before using the oven to heat up the adhesive. I just wasn't sure if anyone has attempted any of this before, I can't seem to find a thread.

I'm in the same boat, haven't worked up the gumption to try it yet, though. Dealer wants $400 per light, and I can't find any good aftermarket options.
