Wrapped my roof!!

wrapped my roof with high gloss CF i bought for like $80. I can say that i'm impressed with both the material and work done by Les over at Plan B Signworks in mesa AZ .. Took it to the pavilions car show right after and made a nice little video. Check it out guys

Who's car at 5:33.....black S4 with the hood up.....their coolant is SUPER LOW. Pause it at 5:37 and you can see how low the fluid is in the reservoir.

I don't know what you mean by "hold well on mirrors" but yea, I'll upload more pics to thread right after I get back home from a business trip. Made reminder to do so :) will post it on this thread

Many guys have wrapped their mirror caps without issue.

Might be more cost effective to just swap them though. CF ones can be had for ~$150.

Ah I see what he means by mirror. This cf vinyl is actually a bit thicker than regular vinyl. I have it around the antenna right now but it doesn't hold well. So I probably wouldn't use this particular vinyl for small sections or if it has intricate sections.

So here are some pics. It was taken at night but the close up pics came out well I think. Sorry about the dirt.. the weather was kind enough to kick up dust and then rain over it.

No. 2 piece wrapped it but.. This wrap is so thick that it doesn't stay well on our antenna. I'm going to take it off and re wrap it with just gloss black wrap

As for the antenna, this wrap is too thick and there is just too much tension in wrap and it does not stay well on the antenna. I would recommend a small piece of regular black gloss vinyl to finish off the antenna. I have the cf on my antenna right now and it is peeling slowly. The guy that wrapped it for me will redo it with the thinner regular vinyl wrap.

but vvivid is one of the best brands for the vinyl. there is just so much depth to the wrap and the cf pattern really shows in certain lighting. I talk about this certain "shimmer" in the video. but i love it on the roof. adds a new dimension to the car
