My S5 is lowered with adjustable upper control arms. Just had an alignment after new tires and not convinced the shop got it right. Where's a good shop to take it to and have it done right?

Before you jump into a new shop, try to come back to the old shop and ask if they can make it right. IF not, try to Southwest Alignment on 8648 Richmond Ave, Houston, TX 77063.

    Thanks all for the suggestions.

I had used Southwest years ago, as they had a great reputation among the car guys in town. Looks like they changed hands and there are a few 'dings' in their online reviews now. Unfortunately I didn't check back here in time to see the TrackTime recommendation.

A web search showed that Eurowheel Alignment had positive reviews, so I gave them a try. I called ahead to make sure that there were no issues with the lowered car/adjustable control arms, as some shops in the past wouldn't touch it. Bobby, their alignment tech, sat down in the lobby with me and listened to everything that I could tell him about the car's behavior. Then he took it for a drive prior to setting it up on the alignment machine. It turned out the that alignment was nearly perfect, so he suggested swapping the two front tires around to see if that would impact the slight pull to the right.

    Bingo - fixed it!

The shop is nothing fancy, but kudos to Eurowheel for their knowledge and integrity, as I was ready to pay for a fresh alignment. The final tally was $20.

Its good to hear that, and its good we have a true review from true customer. Sometime I dont trust those reviews on website because anyone can write it.
