Just ordered one myself. Based on specs seems like one of the best hybrids out there.

nice for a drop in solution. However at that price might as well buy a gt28rs with eliminator kit.

Yeah, but with the TTE turbo the precision balancing and assembly is value added and worth the extra cost. The fine balance requires expensive equipment, technical skill and takes time to do and really does make a difference optimizing performance, durability and reliability compared to OEM standards. I would be even more interested in this turbo if TTE built the assembly with ceramic angular contact ball bearings instead of journal bearings.

TTE turbos start off using genuine Borg Warner hardware, the cost isn't out of line (IMHO, of course).

Having had my hands on it, I can definitely say you are getting genuine OE quality parts. Not generic replica parts. I've had my hands on the chinese knock-offs as well, and the TTE is a different ball game. But you don't even need to go that far, just compare high-res pictures of the TTE and FT, or many of the other hybrid K04 type offerings and if you look you can spot all the differences. And before any haters comments, I'm not saying there is anything wrong with FT, just that there is a price and market for everything.
