RS5 Clutch Not Engaging at Low Speed

I have had the following happen to me a few times while in LA traffic . Especially with my warranty coming up soon, I'm curious if I should have the dealership look at it or it is a nuisance that other RS5 drivers have noticed too and isn't a big deal:

When going about 5 miles an hour (foot barely on the accelerator) and the DSG in "D" if I press down a lightly on the accelerator the clutch seemingly doesn't engage and I don't accelerate until I lift up on the accelerator and it seems like the clutch goes back in and I can then accelerate.

I had a DSG in my '06 A3 and while I get they are completely different I never noticed this before.

I'm also thinking of bringing it in because it is a little spooky putting your foot on the gas and not getting acceleration. Maybe I just need to mash the accelerator harder

Would really appreciate any info if folks have seen this before. I partially think it is the RS just being unhappy about rush hour traffic and wanting to be driven...

There are some updates to the DSG box in the RS 5. I was having some issues with rough shifting, and the BH Audi dealer solved it by forcing an update related to an open TSB. You could probably e-mail your dealer to have them run the VIN to see whether the update has been applied to your car. They may do this anyway before further diagnosing the clutch engagement issues you're experiencing. See the attached doc for details.

If you are close to being out of warranty, you might want to take it in just for good measure. The Auto Gallery went through and inspected my car at 48,XXX free of charge, and I didn't even have any issues when I went in!
