    6MT Shifter wiggle

Has anyone come up with a solution to the shifter wiggle (slight left and right play). I tore mine all apart and there is a rubber sleeve between the plastic piece that clamps to the shifter rod and the plastic piece of the actual knob. The rubber in there had sheared off causing the wobble.

I'm going to try gluing it. Before that I wanted to post.

I think you would prefer to repair it rather than replace it, but I just installed the JHM shifter and WOW. I love it.
The oem shifter would pop out of its "cage" if I would pull upward lightly on it.
Hope I'm wrong, but I don't think you can buy parts for the oem shifter.

Apart from replacing it with a SS I'm not sure...

LoctiteSuper glue gel fixed it. Between the white rubber sleeve and the shifter knob insert.well see how it holds up. It's a pretty tight fit as is, I think the glue will take out the wiggle for good.

No wobble at all at the moment.

I have an ECS short shifter and the wobble didn't go completely away but it's much much better

I have a short shifter, the wobble I'm referring too is in the shift knob assembly.
