    Is a new member post inappropriate? Been on VWvortex for over 10 years but just purchased my 2nd B5. This time an '01.5 S4 avant. 84k on the clock. Mostly stock except for Forge dv, Forge axle-back exhaust, rs4 oil cooler, and rebuilt trans with JHM components. Timing service done and new brakes all around. Needs a couple things (washer reservoir sprung a leak) but nothing major. Been a dream car of mine for 15 years - very pleased about this. This seems to be the most active B5 forum around, so I'll be here a while :)

    Nice, clean looking Avant. Mine is the same, only it is brilliant black and only stays clean about 1 day ! Good luck with your Audi-the B5 S4's are wonderful cars.

    Thanks guys. My last B5 was a 99.5 laser red 1.8TQ A4 that I absolutely loved. Sold that in 2008.

    welcome and nice pick up! looks like fenders are already rolled? seems to be a very clean example, and seriously only 84k miles??? if so she's just a baby!

    Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I will likely keep this close to stock until parts need replacing. I just returned from my mechanic and here is the list of issues with the car, all of them were undisclosed to me at the time of sale, but buyer beware I suppose:

    1. Rear driver's side brake line leaking (fixed)
    2. Tensioner gaskets leaking
    3. Washer pump failure resulting in leak
    4. Missing splash guard and inner fender lining (not sure how I missed this)
    5. Front outer boot torn and leaking (fixed)
