any chance for a (much) thinner aluminum trim piece? I'd prefer not to cover my nice blue CF shifter surround

but its a luxury piece made for a precision interior

That would destroy the lovely design of our main frame I'm afraid...
It may cover a bit of it, but it's not that much really, will see if can make a picture of the underside tomorrow.

Not yet, but I'm sure we will get to it at some point.
Can't promise it will be this year though as we have quiete a list still to work on...
Takes alot of time to develop one if you want it be perfect.

my guess is its very similar to the b6/7. the only diff would be the opening to which your aluminum part fits. it cant be that much different.

I'm afraid they're all pretty much different... especially the curvature of the consoles differs alot.
Nearly all of the models we have at the moment are hollow underneath to follow these curvatures.
Wouldn't look good if there were gaps all around.
Then there's the outside contour that needs to match in order to look good, inner gap needs to allow enough space for free gear changes and secure fitment to the console part...
So unfortunately they're far from universal.
But we try our best to expand the model list quickly. :)
