Hope someone can help with this issue:
2009 Audi A4 3.2 Quattro V6 Premium Plus, no push button start or keyless entry. No warranty.
- Convenience control module is working (BCM2) - lights work, sunroof works, doors lock and unlock with metal key in driver's door (alarm chirps), trunk opens from button and outside trunk latch, and engine starts and drives with key in center console.
- Dealer says the car key fob is programmed correctly but is missing passenger side rear antenna booster (the connector is hanging from the window but the antenna booster is not there) I do not know the part number for the passenger-side rear D-Pillar antenna booster on the sedan.
- Alldatadiy.com says it is Antenna Amplifier R111 (but gives no PN) on the right D-Pillar
- Just ordered an OBDeleven to run diagnostics on the car and see fault codes. (Don't have VCDS / VAG-COM yet)
I have done a bit of research: tried unplugging BCM2 J393 module and plugging it in after half hour, no changes.
Valet mode is off, the key lights up when pushing buttons (battery is good on key fob)...
Has anybody experienced their key not working to unlock/lock doors/trunk on the B8?
I would like to fix this so I can use the key fob
