    ECS Timing Belt Kits

Hey everyone, just picked up an 01 TT 225 HP Roadster with 89k miles. Of course I need to do the timing belt ASAP. I was looking at the kits from ECS and noticed they have various kits. I will do at least Ultimate Kit because I want to replace basically everything while I'm in there. However, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the extras in the other Ultimate Plus kits? For example I see:

    - Heavy Duty Thermostat Housing
    - Racing Timing Belt
    - Lightweight Pulleys

This is not going to be modded heavily or tracked. Just something to drive around with the top down, sometimes spiritedly.

Must I have any of those things?

If you plan on just daily driving it there's really no need to go for performance parts. Though the metal housings are a nice upgrade that you wont have to worry about cracking/warping like the plastic pieces are known to have happen from time to time.

How easy is it to get to the metal housing when everything is completely assembled?

Not hard at all. Basically just remove the alternator and it's right there.
