Can you guys tell me if I will be able to remove the pistons, oil pan and to hone the engine while block is still attached to the car (transmission). I think so but I just need a confirmation from someone who did it. (crank will not come out because of clutch and trans am I right?)
Also can I look for different head instead AMB?
I have 147k miles, rich code, #2 misfire and have it chip for 6 years. I just ordered compression tester kit but I am pretty sure I will need a new head. That is why I would like to take out the pistons and put new rings.
I put longer clutch slave cylinder which was not easy and this time I would probably have to do a new brake fluid line to that slave cylinder so I would rather sell this car instead going through it again.
Any recommendation or upgrades to it while I'm doing it? ($ issue, I just hope I will fit in $800 barrier).
