2017 Q7 3.0 TFSI BK TuningBox Review... great power gains :)

Hey guys just want to share some info on the BK Tuning Box that we've been running on our shop Q7 for some time now. After personally testing out the piggyback tune for many months now, we finally had a chance to put it on the dyno to see what the gains really are. Our butt dyno felt an increase in power the moment we plugged the tune into the car and the dyno confirmed that.

Earlier this week we took our Q7 to our friends over at Autowave in Huntington Beach as they've got a great Mainline AWD chasis dyno and we got some great results

Base line run: 243 hp and 237.6 tq
BK Tuningbox run: 298 hp and 276.8 tq





Installation is quite simple and only takes about 45 minutes to install the TuningBox unit.

They quoted me 9xx for the BK, race chips is low 800

Wasn't there posts in thread that were about how to tell what engine code you have?

If you have a vag com or OBDeleven, you can get your engine code easily. I think all the 17Q7 are CREC.

I do have Vagcom, will check this evening when I get home. The engine code in the post above is SENT, was there a cut off date?

I'm not sure, mine is a CREC and my build date is 9/16
