    V8 Torque mount. Cheap Alternative.

Okay. I know what you're gonna say... "Here we go again with some hair-brained idea...".
Anyway, I feel like the V8 torque mount is a pretty pricey little thing for what it is...there's just no reason for it. I knew there must be a decent alternative out there.
Somewhere in my brain it was lurking. 1968-71' VW bus engine mount. Uh huh. I know..." no way is that going to hold up!" . Well, go check your torque mount, if it's more than a year or two old tell me how well it's holding up They're crap anyway. The VW used one of these on each side of the engine at the rear and I have almost never ever seen a single one completely fail like the Audi torque mount. They can get soft or worn, but other than the time I put 3 tons of gravel in my old single cab I have never seen one break.
So here you go. These are about $10 .Take it or leave it. But the dimensions are nearly exact. I will let you know how it holds up.
    You're welcome.

Good find. I'll be awaiting the results. FCPEuro was running a clearance on a bunch of OEM stuff about a month ago and I got my mount for $39.99. They're listed on the site now for $47.99. Much better than the near $100 price tag most other companies have them for.

Well holy crap. Shit, that's the cheapest I've ever seen that part!-- now I have to buy one. Or I don't know.

I'll update this once I see how the VW mount works...can't see why it wouldn't hold up.
