Chrome door handles?

Did anyone else's Q5 come with chrome door handles? Mine was a 3.0T Premium Plus in Lava Grey Pearl without the black optics package. For some reason, in addition to the chrome window trim, it also came with chrome door handles haha. Kind of makes blacking out the car a little difficult.

I would like to explore an option to replace the door handles with body color matched versions but not sure how easy that would be and where I would source the parts.

yep 2015 and + has the chrome trim on the handle if you don't take the black optics. My 2015 sq5 has it... not a fan at all of it but didn't want black optic on my sepang blue

They seemed to have added this trim piece in the 2016 models. Bugs me too. More so than the window trim. I looked in to it, but the pre-2016 and BO versions actually have a different shape to them. Those are off B8/B8.5 cars while the chrome ones are not. Once I found that out, I stopped looking in to it. After that, its painting them to match.

Same for 2017. They come with the chrome door handles. The black optic package for 2017 now includes a black rear diffuser to match the rest of the black trimming. 2016 had a charcoal gray diffuser even if you opted for the black optic.

That's funny! Now there's a Black Optic Plus Package. I guess the TDI BO Plus is working for us over here in the US.

Interesting! I have a 16 and my diffuser was gray, so I painted it black to match. Always thought it should have came that way with the BO package since it looked a bit out of place.
