    Boost hose kits

    Hi,
Ive been thinking about buying a set of aftermarket hoses. After searching, i found samco, mishimoto, forge, autobahn88, and the ecs kit.

Ive found reviews for all of the kits but the ecs kit. Does anybody have any experience with the ecs kit?

For the price, the ecs kit doesn't look too bad. I also liked that it comes with new clamps. I already have a samco TBB so im not concerned about the ecs kit not including one.

    Thanks,
    Nick

I used the 034 kit personally, but a few of the hoses did not fit well at all. Most of them fit ok.

I was looking at 034 too, thats one thing i keep seeing, A few hoses are a pain to get to fit properly.

I have the 034 spider hose and liked how it fit. Was kinda bummed to see the boost hoses from them aren't as easy to fit

Any reviews or info on the ecs boost hoses? Curious to see how they hold up.

the autobhan88 hoses arent that bad surprisingly actually. Only one that fits poorly is the weirdly shaped driver side hose right after the turbo.

@rguil when u got your hoses, were they clean on the inside? Most reviews ive seen have said that there is a lot of excess material on inside of the hoses. Also, they need a lot of trimming. Are you using all of the hoses are just a few?

I dont know if they were clean on the inside new, they came on the car and have held up great for two years since ive had it, i used to use them all but all i use now is the lower hoses to my FMIC and they are holding 30psi no sweat.
I liked the lobster claws the most and was able to fit them over srm inlets but i stopped using those too when i deleted my maf and y pipe lol.

This, but lobster claws didnt fit great for me.

Been on the car 8 years with stock clamps and working fine, no tears leaks, etc (im not sure what could fail on a piece of silicone hose TBH)
the B5 S4 is like the mafia... there is only one way out!

Same, just wrapped up installing a set for a friend. That driver turbo outlet hose needed a bit of trimming to suck it up to avoid rubbing on other parts but other than that it was pretty good. I cant comment on all the hoses as we also installed SRM SMIC at the same time, and those come with some of their own hoses.

Just purchased the full ECS kit which surprisingly included a new TBB & "F" hose...I've heard other versions of the Kit doesn't include... Haven't installed yet as I'm waiting on other parts while the motor is out. But from the looks it seems like a very well made kit. I also will be going with RS4 intercoolers which have they're own hoses...so at least 4 hoses won't be used. If there's any issue with fitment I'll be sure to update.
