Audi allroad 4.2l v8 high oil pressure

Hoping for some help from you guys!
Just purchased new to me 2005 audi allroad 4.2l with 152k km ~ 90k miles with some issues.
Before purchasing did a PPI and everything was in mint condition (car was serviced at dealership since 2009) except for few things:
valve cover gaskets need to be changed and actual valve covers (paint peeling of), probably will get them powder coated
AT gearbox oil change + filter and gasket (preventative)
tune up (spark plugs, filters)
And here is the worst:
engine oil pressure test:
idle - 3.2bar (1.8bar)
2000rpm - 4.5bar (2.0bar)
3500rpm - 5.2bar (3.5bar)
Im getting oil pump replaced because my concern is stuck by pass valve.
any input is welcomed!
I do work on my cars but something this time involving not possible right know + i dont have place where to do repair.

Btw....oil light (red) comes on around 3000rpm and when mechanic shop finished oil pressure test oil light didnt come back for about 100km ~ 60 miles
but when they took out oil pressure switch oil poured out....dont know how much but it did if that helps

Little update!
Yesterday oil pump came in and they started to work on my wagon.
Monday i will know something more and i will get back to you guys if the new oil pump solved my high oil pressure problem.

Good news.....oil pressure is back to the spec
Im heading to Calgary tomorrow to pick up Audi.
Will write more detailed tomorrow when i get my hands on all the paper work with pics

My biggest apologies to you guys for late response!
I have put aprox 7k hard miles on audi and everything is flawless no light on dash so guess it was oil pump, mechanic shop returned old oil pump and out of curiosity i disassembled it, didn't see any wear on gears or housing....go figure...
so far did 3 oil changes (as you can see i have varnish build up not heavy but still, would love to see heads nice and shiny) and both front axles.
took her out for some off roading, not gonna lie, i am impressed.
