    Audi A4 rear bumper question

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!

Hello fellow Audi owners, I have a stupid question. I'm looking into buying another rear bumper for my A4 because mines pretty beat. I found a cheap one on Craigslist but it looks like the one pictured on the black car with the matte rear valence. So my question is if I sand it down and paint it all one color will the rear valence come out ok??

Yes, depending on your prep work. Some owners on the forum even molded both sections. I would do a search and see what comes up.

You can most definately paint the unpainted lowers. This is my '03 that came with unpainted lowers. I molded the upper to the lower and then did a respray on the bumper. You can do the same thing with the rear bumper.

Most shops with do a fade where the paint the surrounding pieces so it matches them perfectly. But Audi never got it right and almost all of their bumpers are off. If you get a good paint mixed to the paint code, I think it would turn out nice!
