    Spacer question...this can't be normal

I just put a new set of 15mm ECS spacers on the back of my 2016 A5. For whatever reason, the drivers side rear wheel is noticeably more flush than the passenger side rear wheel. I'm talking like maybe a 1/4" difference. I'm not blaming the spacers in any way because they are perfect and I did double check to make sure that they are both 15mm. Has anyone noticed one wheel more flush than the other on the A5? Without spacers, both wheels are so tucked that it would be hard to notice, but with spacers, it becomes easy to see. I'm thinking that my car is a bit lopsided from the factory...

It's not uncommon. I don't know the technicals, but it's due to the subframe being misaligned. Mine was the same, and many others.

Definitely worth having your wheel alignment checked by a reputable company, it may just be your camber needs adjusting on one side or as Ben said, the subframe needs repositioning.
I must emphasise on the "reputable" though, a lot of garages don't really know what they are doing and will align your wheels to an offset rear subframe so you'll crab your way down the road.

So what's the fix? Do I need to have the subframe checked and aligned properly if it's not right? The car is obviously still under warranty, but is this something the dealer can be trusted to do properly?

It's a pretty simple fix, they slacken off the subframe mounting bolts and use a rigging pin to align it, they then need to align the wheels.

I'd speak to the dealer first as they should do it under warranty and will have the correct tools (rigging pin) for the job. It doesn't hurt to ask them and it may save you a few $$.

If it's only camber adjustment needed then that's all part of the rear wheel alignment which is relatively simple.
