Need a Quick Confirmation on my MMI Setup

Long story short, I spent HOURS researching/testing/modifying music tags to get my music to work as I want with Ipod Classic or SD Card or Jukebox.

The result is...failure.

I am now at the point where I think I just need to upgrade.

Please confirm the MMI setup in my 14 Allroad to give me the following:

Artwork, Organization by Artist/Album/Genre/Playlists

Setup to Confirm:
Ipod Nano 7th Gen, Red Grommet Cable

The yellow grommet lighting ami cable is the one the supports album art.

Yes. Nano 7th Gen is lighting. An adapter can be used if needed.

I have never seen anything about a yellow cable. Only black, blue, Red and white. (I currently have blue). My 2014 vw passat has blue as well.

I have the yellow lightning cable, and it works with album art.

But according to the write-up I linked it, it seems that your red grommet 30pin cable with a lightning adapter should work as well.

Just a quick update on this. I decided to stick with an SD Card, imported into the Jukebox. Overall it is a nice function.

Negatives: No Custom playlists, longer process when adding new songs. I have a whole list of directions I have for my wife.
