Have I put the spring upside down on the damper?
Instructions are very unclear and doesn't explain this process but I just assume that this is the correct way.

Reason why i'm wondering is because the upper control arm nut gets very close to the spring

It looks like the spring could go either way so if you're concerned with the nut hitting the spring then I would just swap it around. It sucks because the fronts are no fun.

Right now there is clearance but I haven't put the car on the ground yet, and I wanna make sure it's done right before I drop it down

Just looking if there are any other people on here that has the same coilovers on the same car :)

    Thanks

Should the writing on the springs be upside down then?

    This is how it looks

I want to say this is upside down. I believe the more coiled part of the spring should be on the bottom.

That's what I'm thinking but I can't find any instructions on this and I haven't seen anyone else make a thread about it either so I'm just super confused since it's written on the spring that way so I just assumed

I'm just gonna flip the spring and see what happens

Spring manufacturers usually intend for their springs to be used the same way their labels are printed on the springs. If you dont know call h&r

"2) Which end of the spring is up?
H&R springs fit the same way that stock springs do. The shape of the spring is most important.
If the spring is the same on both sides and fits the same either direction, then it is correct to install the spring with the closer coils “up”.
If the spring is smaller at one end and larger at the other, the orientation should match OEM factory installed springs."

Also shame on people replying based on "whats looks right" to them. Clearly some good technical opinions to be trusted there.

It makes more sense to me to have the denser coils upwards. That way there is less unsprung weight which, theoretically, would result in better suspension response.
