    For those that have/had replica peelers....

    I recently had a set fitted and these came with small sets of Audi rings to attach to centre cap.

    The tyre centre declined to fit these saying they had seen them break before.

    I tried one and sure enough I broke it.

    So I'm down to 5 good ones and 1 broken one. Before I try again, has anyone had any luck or tips for this?

    When I had my C6 with peelers, I had no problem removing them and installing them. Never had one break either. I just used a small plastic trim tool to remove and gentle pressure to install.

    Granted I have only tried on one wheel yet, but no amount of gentle pressure seemed to help it in and then of course the tab broke.

    Maybe a little bit of silicone lubricant might help. I really had no issues with swapping it out.

    I was thinking that might be worth a shot or a gentle movement with a screwdriver to make sure the tabs will go in, it was solid.

    Might be too risky but maybe a light LIGHT sandpaper of the slits? Just enough that light pressure pops it in but it still stays in place?

    I lubed and gently expanded the slots with a thin screwdriver.

    That said final score was 2 broken, 4 fitted. Don't think I have the best quality merchandise

    Don't get me me wrong, I am really happy with the look, but I had originally set out to create a different look, but on balance I am happy the route I went, and I have sort of come to the conclusion that I will do nothing else visual but focus more on performance enhancement, though I reserve the right to change my mind :)

    Really looking forward to seeing your new wheel setup Sin!
