    I'm still learning the different options, but I was under the impression that the S-line was a B7 package, the USP was a later model B6, and only was available with the 1.8T and not the 3.0.

    Exactly USPs was 04-05 B6, S-Line was B7 and after. Dude has a basic base B6.

    Correct, except the USP was available in both 1.8 and 3.0.

    But was it available in 2002? I do know enough that what he probably has is the premium package... Or has modded it such. There doesn't appear to be the USP bumpers (his look just like mine), or the door blades, and the wheels look to be standard 17" wheels...albeit painted, then subsequently tagged.

    At least he isn't trying to pass it off as an S-line AND ask for more money.

    Correct only 2004 and 2005 had USP package option available. On 2005, they've added an S-line badge to the steering wheel.
