    Crash bar support bolt stripped

So I managed to get the bumper and lights off very quickly on the weekend, but had an absolutely crap time with the crash bar and the support. I have one allen bolt on each side of the car, on the bar support that locks into the car.

It got rounded out as I tried to loosen it with allen tools. I've also tried Irwin's bolt extractors, which cut into the bolt slightly as they drive it out. The tool just span and ended up stripped out the tool that has a 'life time guarantee'. It also forced my drill to back up on itself and unscrew the head of the drill from the body.

What's worse is that the bolt is a semi-circle low profile bolt

I've ordered an 950-1600NM dewalt impact wrench, and some last option bolt extracting bits - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

After this I have no idea what i'll do.

    Crash bar support bolt stripped

Same thing happened to me this past weekend. I just beat the next size Allen socket into the bolt and it worked for me. Installed the bumber yesterday and it tightened right up.

I'll have to find a TX 50 or something because I used a big allen size.

So I'm using laser's extractor screw set. Drilled out a hole with a diamond bit and the extractor bit worked fantastic.

The only problem is, ive managed to pop out to bolts, you can see some idiot has used a crap load of loctite on the bolt, literally covered the whole thing, there is no rust so rust wasn't the issue

I've somehow managed to get the extractor bit lodged into the head of the drilled out bolt. I've tried a hammer but its not coming out.

So I've managed to snap the old bolt off from its head, but the head it still stuck on the extractor bit lol.

I AM ONE BOLT AWAY FROM REMOVING THE FRONT END. ARHHGHGHGHGG
