Moved on from the B6

Most people here probably don't know me but for those who are still around from the old days I thought I would update what I've been up to. Sold the B6 recently to Sam, member (7Speed). The B6 treated me well for over 10 years, 9 of those with a Big turbo. That car will always hold a special place in my heart. Put a lot of hard work into it and made a lot of strong friendships along the way. Every step I took with the car I did myself and most of the time came in trial and error. The last few years the car became just transportation and I was converting it back to stock for better drivability. Once I hit the high 100k mile mark I decided it was time to move on to something newer and more efficient. In came the GLI. I've always noticed GLI's on the road when they pass by. I started looking into them and noticed you get a lot of bang for your buck in the performance and technology department. I made the leap and bought one. Found a used 2014 in white with low miles so I couldn't pass it up. Here are some pics-

Nice choice! My sister has the same, but autobahn and 6 speed version. Enjoy!

Congrats. GLIs are certainly very subtle/stealthy compared to GTI. Nice pick-up.

Congratulations on the GLI. I'm going on 14.5 years on my 02 but I refuse to let her go! Been rebuilding for the past 2 years. Longevity doesn't come cheap.
