allroad + Coilovers (Bilstein B16 PSS10): Control Arm Question

    All-

Considering moving from my B8 Avant Sline springs on my allroad to Bilstein B16 PSS10 Coilovers (similar to Killerbootsman) and am trying to determine if I need to get Adjustable Upper Control Arms; I want to keep OEM suspension specs in regards to camber, etc. and not sure if the OEM Control Arms can accomodate.

Can anyone chime in with some knowledge on this?

And before you say ask Killerbootsman, I've already done that and he wasn't 100% sure

    Thanks in advance

Pretty sure you would need new adjustable control arms.

Too much negative camber that cannot be corrected.

I guess it will also depend how much lower you plan to go.

I'm on Bilstein PSS10's with SPC adjustable control arms... needed to be able to adjust camber for 20x10.5 BBS CH-Rs. I just put new rubber on, and will be headed into the shop for a professional alignment next week... camber, toe, corner balance, etc. This isn't a "chain" alignment shop. This doesn't answer your questions per se, though it gives you additional information on a similar set up.

Also, let me add that your actual ride height will be a factor. How low do you intend to set the coilovers? This is an example of the additional factors you have to consider.

    Thanks, Zephyr7 and others.

Planning on going 26.5" FTG so think adjustable control arms will be necessary.
