Sure but your intake isn't sitting right on top of the block and has the benefit of a heat shield.

That said, I got a great deal on a near-mint one courtesy of SlimPDX. Wiped it down, wet-sanded the front lightly, and gave it 3 healthy coats of engine temp grade clear coat, front n back!
Let's see if that prevents the yellowing, if not slow it down significantly. Hopefully, I won't have to report back with a "well..sad to report.." reply!
