Crazy horizontal lines of distortion on the MMI screen? Any thoughts?

Any thoughts on what this is?
It happens every almost every day but not all the time.
I have noticed that going over a bump has set it off before...
The only thing I changed recently was deautoled.com reverse lights and LED trunk strip.
Could that have affected the electronics in the rest of the car?

I would pop off the dash trim, remove the 4 screws holding the screen in and make sure the cable behind it is fully plugged in.

Give it a few wiggles while you are at it and see if you can reproduce the issue.

Probably a loose or bad ribbon cable. Gently push on the screen towards the sides (not sure which one) to see if you can make it go away. If so, do what Whiped suggested and remove trim and screen and check the cable.
