Heat conductive connector to attach intake to throttle body?

Has anyone ever used a heat conductive connector to attach intake to throttle body?

It appears the that the throttle body is connected to the SC therefore will probably get fairly hot?

To me it looks as if the connector that joins the air intake to throttle body is not heat conductive. Therefore heat stays in SC. If however, the connector is heat conductive, the air intake can act as a heat sink.

Probably a bad idea as someone has probably already tried it or knows it should not be done.

Won't make a bit of difference. Or put another way, you can't shed enough heat via heatsink conductivity process to impact AIT in the charger.
