Correction work and coating done by Steve at Ultimate Detailing in Houston. He did a fantastic job on my car, A true professional and a very nice guy. He spent close to 20 hours making my car look as good as it possibly can. He used both CQuartz Uk and CQuartz Classic on my car. he is a perfectionist and that is obviously not a bad thing!
He is coming back next month to do another full correction and coating on my wife's sepang blue SQ5
If anyone in the Houston area needs any work doing look him up he does everything from correction work to detailing the inside and/or the outside.
    Highly recommended nice work Steve!

Looks stellar! What rims are those again? Are you running spacers and lowering links?

I should have mine dialed in soon and get rid of those swirls.

Thanks I think it looks stellar too!
The wheels are avant garde M580's 20*8.5 ET32, stock wheels are 20*8.5 ET45. No spacers and the car is VAG lowered 15mm front and 17mm rear, looks perfect (to me) in dynamic mode.

    Cheers

Yeah I wouldn't do black wheels on a black car, needs at least a little contrast IMO.

It's definitely worth it. I didn't realize just how much light scratching and swirling was on my paint work until I had it corrected.
    Thanks for the nice comment.

Looks fantastic! Love the black with black optics.

I did mine this weekend too. Washed, clayed, compound (Menzerna FG400 on a DA), then Sonax Nano Polish (via DA) followed by Opti-coat, and a layer of carnauba.

I'd say it came out 90% of what I wanted, but I did find some touch ups I didn't notice when I bought the car that I'll want fixed right by a body shop.

Thanks Scott I like the black on black, so pleased with how mine turned out. Would love to see some pictures of yours, you got some pictures up or plan to put some up?

Looks great. I'm going to have cquartz and expel PPF on the front of my CPO RS7 when it gets here.

Car looks great. How dark are the headlights tinted? Looks very mean.
