    Indicated MPG Very High

This is probably related to the potential fuel level sender issue I am having. My MPG indicator is saying I'm getting mid 30s with mixed driving. When in reality I'm getting 26.5 mpg combined over each tank. Also on top of that my fuel level gauge stays at the "full" level for over the first 80-100 miles on the tank before it goes down. I never had any of these problems until about a month ago and the fuel level indicator and MPG indicators were both pretty accurate. Any ideas?

That's about the same for mine too...my 06 Jetta fuel gauge also didn't move until after 100 miles or so.

I get 50 miles before it starts moving. My brand new 4runner does the same. My old 4Runner did the same as well. Same with my first car, 98 passat.

Point is, that is normal for fuel gauges to perform that way. Accuracy on nearly full is not useful, nearly empty is where you want accuracy. Audi trip computer is not very accurate at all on its own.

You can replace your sender and see if it helps and report back.

Well my fuel level gauge was always accurate before. Now, not so much
