    Hey,

Just thought I'd get some outsider opinions. I'm torn between selling or completely rebuilding and modding my 02 B6 A4 auto 1.8T (very lightly modded) W/ 180,XXX miles body is about 85% w/ very small rust spot or, rebuilding a 97-98 S14 Kouki w/ a SR20DET swap. I've always wanted to build an S14, but I am partial to my b6. I wouldn't go to crazy with the B6, pretty much like a said a rebuild and more than likely a K04 swap. I'd like to get a decent amount of power nothing over the top, but making it look pristine and sexy. With the S1, I'd go for a slightly modded look and like the B6 not a crazy amount of power. I like to build and I also like power and I like being able to daily drive my cars. Any insight would be nice, just mostly weighing my options and seeing if the B6 would be worth it (ultimately comes down to what I want to do). I know W/ the S14/SR20DET I could get anywhere between 300-400 HP, not too sure yet w/ the K04 swap for HP range.Just want to build something fun for cruising I just don't want a monster that would be more annoying than fun for daily driving in MN summers. I dunno, just venting...

    Thanks for reading!!!!

If you are trying to get into the same hp range with the b6 the stock ZF transmission is not going to handle 300-400hp range. So keep that in mind, that at a minimum, upgrading the torque converter will be required.

Yeah I figured that. Thanks! I was only looking for maybe around 260-300 HP for the A4.
