RNS-E Convertion 8P0 035 193GX Euro to US... Please help...

Hello,

I'm new to RNS-e but I'm loving it so far but I'm having a terrible time trying to convert it. I've followed the steps I found on another forum http://audiforum.us/threads/another-...s-story.15198/ but it does not boot the conversion disk at all.

I'm thinking that my unit doesn't like the Loading.KWI i'm giving it. I even went as far as to HEX edit the loading.kwi to contain the 575 software but the unit still doesn't want to boot it either. Obviously I'm taking a lot of guesses as I did that.

The unit itself is functional and is capable of downgrading and running the software updates because I was able to downgrade it to a lower Euro software but US software has been evading me for the last 2 days.

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Take a look at this Mate. I had to convert mine as well when I had one. It's on old write up I wrote, but it should point you in the right direction.
I am not too sure if it's compatible with yours, but just to give you an idea.

Thank you for your help but unfortunately, this uses a software that only will work with GEN 1 RNS-E and older firmware. It doesn't load the file correctly when you use it on the 2010+ units.

Here is an interesting question. What is the minimum recommended voltage for firmware upgrade? Mine looks a bit low... 12.1V Might that have something to do with something?
