Ottawa mechanic?

Might consider buying a used BMW in Ottawa and wouldn't mind a reference for a good mechanic to do a quick inspection on it if I end up going ahead with the purchase.

Rodgers Performance has a good reputation locally. Mostly VW/Audi/Porsche but they do other models including BMW: http://rodgersperformance.ca/services/ - the owner has occasionally posted on this forum too.

I've never tried them personally though. I've gone to Advanced Autowerks in Ottawa which is a great shop with fair prices but it can be tough to get them to answer the phone/call you back about things, and their parking lot is a zoo. They are more of a VW/Audi specialist too.

I've actually met Bryan once at Vagkraft I believe. Forgot about him. I looked up his shop and he's near the airport which is a little far. Ended up going with RPM instead. Seems to have gotten good reviews.

It went well and I ended up buying it. A 2008 135i cab for the wife. Flew to Ottawa last Saturday morning and drove back to surprise her with it.
