I had to honk my horn in an emergency yesterday. It was such a weak monotone sound that the other driver backing out of a parking slot could definitely not hear. I guess there was something wrong with it. Does anyone know where the horn is physically on the car?

Two horns, one mounted at each side of the bumper (high tone and low tone) It sounds like one of yours has stopped working, I've always been impressed with the horn on this car and it gets used often here.

Low tone is typically the first to go. Don't know why. Same thing with my 911. They will rape you at the dealer if you elect to get it replaced there. They aren't hard to do. Might have to remove the bumper. Easy swap though. Save yourself $300-400.

Thank you all for your answers. Yes the only tone working now is the high pitch. The low pitch is not. I think I will survive until my 15K miles service in a month or two. I am sure the repair will be covered by warranty.
