    E85 conversion kit?

I've been thinking on probably soon selling my car for numerous reasons unless there is a possible way to make my car be e85 compatible. ( Reason1)

I had a fault code a week ago (Camshaft Posts. Sensor Circ.Range performance) that went away, but other audiziners strongly recommended to get the timing chain tensioner replaced regardless...so that added to my idea of selling the car instead of doing the job (1500$). (Reason2)

Anwz to get back to the main point are there ways to make our car e85 compatible and at what cost

Oh and I stumbled upon this , ever heard of it?

So many more things needed to withstand the corrosive nature of e85 fuel.. thing that were built into the auto b8.5 models... Also their won't really be an off the shelf apr or giac tune to support the e85 fueling upgrades in a b8 model... Unless you do a complete metal intake b8.5 engine swap... Even then lots of wiring and software compatibility issues...

The flex fuel ECU calibrates the E85 mix in real time and adapts the fueling accordingly.

Theres no kit or way to recreate this unless you manage to swap and code new ECU as well.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm interested in this as well. There are what are essentially piggy backs (like chipwerkes) that claim to adapt non-e85 cars to e85. They add an e85 sensor and plug into the fuel injectors and maybe a few other things. There's a kit that auto senses and adjusts its outputs based on the quality/percentage of ethanol in the mixture. I imagine, it detects X percentage of ethanol and boosts the injector signal by Y. Something along those lines.

I kind of doubt any of the hardware would need to be updated for a basic e85 tune. Ethanol is so prevalent is gas today that I imagine all the fueling components are fully ethanol compatible. You could tune the car with Maestro and Eurodyne. All you'll be doing is advancing ignition timing on whichever base file matches your other mods.
