Ecode ALU KREUZ Question for y'all!

Was contemplating getting it for my car. I've read some of the feedback, which is positive for the most part. The COST obviously is the main factor.
For those of you running with it, do you feel the gains in torsional stability/better handling worth the price tag?
I'm sure most here have it along with other suspension upgrades so just getting a feel, whether I should go for it or not..Are the overall gains worth $400+install hardware.
Any/all comments welcomed!

I installed mine after a set of sway bars and before a drop. The biggest thing I noticed was the change in steering. It's much more crisp now and the car just feels connected to the road.

It's a great complement to a set of sway bars. Worth the money? I'd say yes, but others might disagree. If you can find a used one you'l prob save a hundred or more.

I obviously did a major suspension upgrade all at one time with springs/struts/shocks, swaybars, and 4 braces including the AK. I can only tell you that the car is so much more connected to the road and driver. I am with Paul...watch for a used one, it's what I did and I'm very pleased with it. And God knows, you're the King of waiting for the right price on a used part... Nice CF engine cover

Giant waste of money!Most will say they see results after changing parts out but most of the time it's just in your head. The cost vs results of this part is a no brainer, don't waste your time. Also, to say this helps with steering you obviously aren't very familiar with cars. In no way will this help with that since it's not even close to attaching to and steering linkage and it bolts tot he frame. the stock piece is solid and will not bend with turns, the after market piece is an expensive block of metal.

Yeah, from what I've read on the reviews, best guess is the overall effectiveness is mild to moderate at best. Given all the other suspension upgrades I've already sunk into mne, perhaps the thought of an AK may need to be shelved altogether.

Really? People have been talking up the AK like it'll transform your A4 into an Elise. At least in terms of steering feel. Which sucks, because the steering responce is terrible IMO.

Yeah it could be better. But I'm just saying this part will not fix or improve steering or handling at that.

^^^I totally agree. I recently installed my suspension stuff and now have 2 front upper braces and a rear lower brace, but I got the AK for a song in a package purchase of swaybars/end links, AK and wheels, so for me it was a no brainer. Do I think it helps? Yes, I'm sure it helps a little & it is lighter so there is that benefit.

But if asked... Would I buy one for full retail? My answer is unequivocally, NO.

That was literally the first DIY mod since joining AZ and I was blown away by how something as relatively simple like a support bar made such a noticeable difference in the steering!
From what I'm gathering, the AK would be a nice compliment but simply not worth the sticker price.
As it is, I've already beefed up with both the UR and CR upper braces, UR lower brace, 30mm H&R front/27mm ST Suspensions sways, plus 034's rear diff mounts + transmission billet.
I don't think the AK is gonna be the magic unicorn that'll take it over the top but certainly will enhance the overall ride.
for used one continues!!

Realistically, if you could put a price tag more worthy, what'd y'all give it? Be interesting to see the numbers!

When I first added the Alu Kreuz, I noticed a small difference in that there was less flex during turn in. Later adding the EC sways, lowering the suspension and adding the 19's just magically brought everything together as a system. Think of the Alu Kreuz as fine tuning or icing on the cake. With the CR 15 which I added to everything else, that I could definitely feel tighter, added responsiveness in my steering. My power steering runs off the pulley though. Some of you with the electronic power steering may still feel less responsiveness.

See that! Congrats! How are you liking the Quattro over the FWD? Still just have the A4. Still looks spanking new and just about to turn 29k. Two more payments and she's free and clear. Sorry, didn't mean to jack this thread!
