    Brake Caliper Clip ('97 B5 A4)

Hi, everyone - I recently got a B5 A4. I replaced the front rotors, and cannot figure out how to get the spring clips to go back into place. I can always get either the top or bottom to seat and insert back into the caliper, but the other one then becomes very resistant to bending back into place...anyone have any suggestions on replacing these clips?

Use a flat head screw driver and hold it in place with your hands and pry it into position. I've bloodied my hands trying to put these damn things on. Once you get it you can do it over and over agin tho.

That did it! Thanks for the tip. I ended up seating and inserting one end, holding the other end over its retaining hole, and prying the spring onto the caliper seating position.

It's a bitch but there is some technique to it.
