    Audi A6 C7 3.0TFSI AWE or Innotech (IPE) ?

    Hello,

I'm going to change my stock exhaust to aftermarket one. I would like to notice the sound inside cabin but I'm cruising a lot and wondering if will not be to loud inside the car on the highway.

I'm interested in AWE Touring Edition Exhaust (cat-back/downpipe-back) or iPE Innotech Performance Exhaust system (cat-back/full - downpipe-back).

Which one will be quieter and which one will be louder in the cabin? Is anyone able to answer this question? I thought that system with the flaps (like iPE) and at half-closed flaps mode will be more quiet than system without the flaps but it's probably not so obvious.

The second question is should I take cat-back or downpipes-back (full) exhaust?

Quad or one tip per side?

Thank you all for your help and answers

Not to derail you're initial thought process, but have you considered the center muffler delete first? There are plenty of posts on this. It would only cost you a couple hundred bucks and will add a nice growl with zero drone. And completely reversible. For added sound and appearance, you could also do the quad tip mod and adding the oem quad tip valence. Just a thought before you drop a couple grand vs a few hundred bucks.

Thank you but I would like to change whole exhaust. My friend has Audi A6 without the center muffler. That's not the solution for me.
I only don't know which aftermarket exhaust system will be louder than OEM and still give a reasonable level of comfort inside the cabin.

Look at Miltek as they also have a Valvesonic product, however lm not sure you can have either Miltek or IPE valves "half closed". I think there is two options: open & closed.

Maybe someone on here can confirm for you....

I know. I had in mind a system with valves/flaps.
I do not know whether the system with valves will be more quietly with closed flaps than the system without flaps. IPE seems loud. However, having AWE nothing can dampen.

I too wanted a valved system but none gave the sound I wanted so after looking at a few videos online decided awe was close to the one I wanted... was exactly what I wanted in the end.
