    IMMO pin from dump file???

So I need to swap out the cluster on my A4 B6. I bought a used cluster on Ebay and what I thought was the right cable. As it turns out it's so Chinese knock off POS. I was able to dump the cluster but not read the pin. I've tried Nefmoto (won't connect), VAG k pin reader (won't connect), VAG IMMO 3 (won't connect), VAG K-commander (connects but only to dump the cluster). I've hunted all over the internet looking for something that will extract the pin from my dump file, I will attach here if anyone can get the pin for me. Thanks in advance to anyone the can help me find the pin or point me in the direction of a program that will.

I'll play the link game too. :http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...1#post11451530

Look at post 69 for VAG eeprom 1.19 software. cshuster was kind enough to put a copy up on Google drive. Going the Nefmoto route will work, but is much more difficult for someone who has no frame of reference. Just follow the instructions cshuster posted and you will be golden...

Thanks for the link it worked like a charm. For other people doing this make sure you follow in instructions in the Google drive page. Nefmoto didn't work for me because I couldn't connect with POS cable from Ebay (I bought a new one with the right chip this time, coming tomorrow).

You are welcome. Glad it worked for you!

For anyone interested in the cable issue, always ensure you get a cable with a FTDI chip (ie FT232RL). There are similar cables that contain a CH340 chip. They will not work with software designed around the FTDI chip (like Nefmoto flasher). When in doubt email the seller to be sure...

For sure. Be careful what cable you buy.
