    I've always thought it's 6 years or 100k miles (whichever comes first) from in-service date.
    But the above is not really a true statement, i.e if you bought a CPO 2 year old car @ 48k miles, then your CPO kicks in as soon as it hits 50k miles for additional 2 years/50k, that beeing said if you drive 2000 miles within a month, your full warranty period is actually 4 years and 1 month/100k instead of 6 years/100k miles.

    Is everyone aware of this, I found this out when I brought my car in for service today, and I just happen to ask them when does my CPO expire and they told me Jan/2017 instead of the 9/2017 that I thought it was.

    That's why is better to buy car still on the factory warranty and before it expires buy extended from Audi

    Yes, it's not very clear but that is case. There's also an $85 deductible for repairs under CPO warranty. Sound system and navigation are not covered either.
