In the market for a C7.5 S6

I drank the kool-aid and fell in love with the 2016+ S6. If the right optioned, right priced one surfaces, I'm pulling the trigger.

Point of this thread, I want to know the "must-haves" for these cars. Here is my list so far:

- Sepang Blue or any of the 3 Greys (Daytona, Tornado or Oolong)
- 20" Titanium Wheels
- Sports Seats in Black
- Carbon Atlas
- Sports Package
- Black Optics (not a deal killer)
- Alcantera Headliner (not a deal killer)

Am I missing anything?

It's really personal preference but I had to have HUD and 360 camera in the tech/driver assistance package (might be called something else)

For me, Sport Pkg and Black Optics Pkg were must haves. Though I enjoy having the Driver's Assist Pkg, I can do with out it. The upgraded Bose system is worthless. In fact, the stock stereo sounds better IMO and it's still a Bose although the sales people will tell you otherwise. Carbon inlays are a nice touch and adds sportiness to the cabin. You can't go wrong with those color choices, my favorite being Daytona Pearl Grey.

Are you looking for a prestige or P+?

Black optics come with the 20 inch wheels.. I'd say get the LED headlights (if you're looking at a P+). IMO both are a must.

Driver assistance package is nice, especially when you're more than likely to be traveling some distance. Remember when it comes to alignment though, you're forking out some good $.

I'm sure the driver assistance package is nice but not a must have for me. Wont be taking many road trips.

Two questions:

What option allows the audi rings to be displayed downward when the doors open?

Does every S6 come with the adjustable air suspension? And how do you lower and raise the car (without springs)?

I like the llane shift collision avoidance (not sure of exact name). Blinks Amber when someone rolls up on you and flashes fast if u put your turn signal on while it senses someone close. Saved my butt the other day.

That may be standard on the C7.5. C7s have backlit door kickplates.

Yes.

"Comfort" and "Auto" settings are one ride height, "Dynamic" is about .75" lower.

There's a thread here about lowering the car using VCDS, and H&R also offers a lowering module that's plug and play, though expen$ive, IMO.

I think the Bose sounds good, BTW - not a fan of the stock stereo.

2nd on the LED headlights and the sports package.

The diamond-stitched seating is standard, BTW - it's "comfort" seating that's optional, IIRC. I prefer the look of the diamond stitching, but the comfort seats are definitely more comfortable.

Prestige is P+ plus: Bose stereo with subwoofer, Led headlights, Power trunk open/close, HUD, Power Rear window & Manual rear side sun shades, Led interior lighting

I ordered one back at the end of June.. I'm kicking myself for not ordering the Sport Package, but have seen some things I can do to the exhaust to give it more of a sound. I went with the Prestige package, comfort seating, driver assistance package, cold weather, black optic, and the night vision. Did not know there was an upgrade for the Bose system, but also did not think the B&O was worth an extra $5000.
