    Hey Fellas,

Are there any examples of these wheels on a B8? I'm thinking of putting them on my lowered Ibis White allroad.

    Thanks,

    Ben

Not sure if the specs are the same between the A8s and the A7s, but post #14084

theres reps on ebay but the seller named oem+ has a shitty rep so im holding off until i see it for sale locally. or until i find a reputable seller online.

    A8 wheels on B8 allroad (or A4)

Thanks guys! That sealed my opinion that they're the right wheels for me.

Do you guys think these wheels are oem? It seems like they could be knock off or reconditioned oem. Thoughts?

seller looks reputable so i'd say it's genuine OEM, not replicas, price reflects it too. but yes it's painted, if you read the description it says it's a powder coated oem one, so thats not the original finish. but it's still oem in the end, same quality and still pretty much almost new, you just dont get the original finish but you can always re-powdercoat them in silver or get them machined or something, or just dip them.

    Thanks for the input.

Are there two versions of finish on this style, machined and painted silver?

Opinions on what would look best on a white allroad? Black, machined, painted silver (if it exists)?

i think that specific design wheel comes with the machined face always. and i believe there are 2 variations, one is silver with the machined face and the other is gunmetal with the machined face. or i could be wrong it might be just the silver/machined.

and when i say painted silver i just means the normal OEM silver finish that you see on most the other wheels, all wheels are painted silver and then clearcoated on top. the machined one is actual polishing on the face of the wheel to give that shiny chrome-ish effect. i'm not sure how knowledgeable you are about wheel finishes so just FYI in case. also check out dipyourcar.com if you're interested you can always get the colors temporarily changed and leave that gloss black under.

as for on a white car, i think the gloss black looks good, depends if you want the more aggressive/sporty look or a more classy/clean/oem style look then i'd go with the silver/machined. and you can always use plastidip to black them out or whatever color you like later on, but get the one you like best as the original finish on the wheels.
