'17 S3 Release Date

I've searched for a release date for the S3 but cannot find anything. Anyone have an idea? I believe the S4 is next Spring.

There are some 2017 (facelift) S3 at the ports already from what I have heard... and if not already stateside they are on boats enroute. I would expect to see them start showing up later in Sep/early Oct.

According to the dealers I spoke with, they are going to start arriving mid October (this is Bay Area), but a fair amount of them are spoken for already.

It was going to look like Novemeber for me to get the one I wanted, so I decided just to pick up a 2016 since there's very little changes (the '17 Euro model got the new engine and new haldex and all that jazz).

We have about 6 cars at the port for almost a month now. Not sure when they're releasing them. Couple Navarra Blue, Tango Red and Vegas Yellow

To my knowledge they haven't released lease rates, and as of this morning they haven't updated the online configurator. My guess is they are trying to move the left over '16s

I've seen someone already picked up a ibis white one, on the S3 owners FB group.

btw I know Audis don't tend to hold any sort of value, but will the release of the 17's tank the value even further for 15/16 MY owners? At what point do they level out in residual value for a few years? If at all.

The one on FB was in the UK I think. Value of the 15/16s should be fine since its the same chassis. I know My B8 S4 value has been steady and didn't tank too bad when the B8.5 came out. It will in the spring though :(
